The Gift Odyssey

Launching a brand loyalty program and a new mobile app can be a communicational challenge. Almost as challenging as finding the perfect gift for your loved ones – the main functionality of the Orange Gifts app. We created a multi-channel campaign to launch it nationwide.

BACKGROUND

Finding the perfect gift for a loved one has always proved a major challenge.

The closer the person is to you, the tougher it seems to choose the best one for them. Orange, the country’s biggest bookstore chain is also one of the first places you look for gift inspo.

Based on their brand positioning, developed with us – Books, Gifts, Joy, they launched their first mobile app. It uses an AI assistant to aid its users in finding suitable gifts for their loved ones.

APPROACH & IDEA

Launching the app, we produced a video that also had to serve as a product demo. We used a story-driven approach to showcase various tricky, last-minute situations where you need gift ideas quickly. The Gift Odyssey quickly became a staple for the brand’s tone-of-voice and the perfect blend of a product and an image video piece.

EFFECT

The Orange Gifts app rose to popularity and straight into the nation’s top 20 shopping apps, surpassing giants like Zara, H&M, AliExpress, eMAG and Decathlon.
